"I received my care package and first card when I started my own radiation therapy. It was as if the angels had sent it to me. I remember thinking "how much someone loved me" to send this to me. Then I found out it was Phil's Friends. I looked forward to the cards, small letters, and notes each time they came. They were moments of hope and they helped me gather courage. It was absolutely amazing to think a stranger had prayed for me; had taken the time to offer encouragement. I held all these so close to my heart and thanked God for each one. This is an incredible organization. Every time I meet someone in that same place on the journey with cancer, I return here so that they too may be offered hope. I pray always in your support and "I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers" Ephesians 1:16.
"I've received Cards of Hope from Phil's Friends since my cancer battle in 2016-17 and still find strength in receiving them. Many tests and scares still happen. I'm thankful for the cards and messages."
"Our son Brannon is gratefully four years out from finishing treatment for brain cancer. While he is doing well health wise, sadly he has lost most of his friends. At the age of 12, it has been hard on him ans he often gets lonely. He loves jokes and getting these cards in the mail. As his mom, I would like to continue anything I can to help put a smile on his face. Thank you."
"Thank You for your Ministry of Hope & Encouragement...Love & Prayers"
"Thank you so much for the fantastic care package. I am having surgery next week for breast cancer. Perfect timing as I just received the care package which was put together by such wonderful and caring people. It lifted my spirits knowing so many loving people are praying for me and wishing me well."
Yesterday was nearly two weeks into the recovery from my husband’s prostate surgery. It was a bad day, to say the least. Great day too – seems like they got all the cancer out. What they left behind is two leaking spots on the bladder connector and a leaking lymph system where his lymph nodes used to be attached. Now sepsis/infection is our main worry. But all that faded when I opened “the box”. Surely it was meant for someone worry. But all that faded when I opened “the box”. Surely it was meant for someone else. Someone more deserving. Someone in more critical need? But when I saw all the lovely, comforting, soft, cozy, personal gifts, notes, and spiritual messages…I knew the lovely, comforting, soft, cozy, personal gifts, notes, and spiritual messages…I knew it was just for Dave. Exactly the right thing, at just the perfect time. He is so weary, it was just for Dave. Exactly the right thing, at just the perfect time. He is so weary, worn out and humiliated at the loss of his manly control and even more male identity. But that was all erased by the kindness and caring from your group of soul supporters. Thank you seems so inadequate, but it is sent with our deepest and most sincere gratitude for making our day one worth sharing and remembering. “This too shall pass” refers only to the sickness that he is enduring, but not the love from you that he is endearing. Blessings to all.

I just received my Phil's Friends box and what a surprise it was! What a blessings your ministry is. Thank you so much for your desire to come along side those who need support. My husband and I have just made a donation so that someone else will receive a blessing. Thank you so much for helping to continue my hope and courage in the coming years.
I loved the inital package I received and I love receiving the cards [of hope]! Someone had colored coffee mugs all over my care package at it made me smile at a time I needed to smile.
The children decorated my box so beautiful, so pretty with hearts and flowers and even a lady bug. So special and all for me!
Your cards have made a wonderful difference in my life and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the continued encouragment and uplifting messages. I have had breast cancer 3 times, too many treatments, and 11 surgeries. With many thanks and continued blessings.
“I would like to thank you for the lovely box of gifts that you sent. It was a nice surprise. Having just been diagnosed with lung cancer, I was not prepared for what items I would need to take for chemo. Every single item included is being used, including the Bible. I did not own a Bible and now my husband and I have started reading the Bible you sent. I cannot thank you enough for the prayers”.
