Day 19
Dear Melisa,
I’ve heard you say repeatedly over the years that living with cancer is a lonely experience no matter how great of a network you have. Through this trial not only did you develop perseverance and hope but so did your family. How cool to know that your daughter Anna decided at a young age to work in pathology and help save lives because of watching her mom persevere. I’m so thankful that the support from Phil’s Friends was such a great encouragement to you and your family. Thank you for the work you do at AT&T mobilizing volunteers across the country. Through this work you already have supported thousands of people with cancer in a similar way.
May God continue to bless you and the work you do!
“But we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Romans 5:3-4
