Ambassadors of Hope
There are many important tasks within the organization that require the commitment of a unique sort of volunteer. So we’ve launched the volunteer program: Ambassadors of Hope. There are six ambassador teams that strategically focus on fulfilling important roles for Phil’s Friends: administration, events, group leadership, the hope center, networking, and prayer. Because of the responsibilities involved, volunteers go through an orientation and training process where their skills are matched with different areas of need. To inquire, click below.
Cards of Hope Network
Our Cards of Hope program mails out thousands of encouraging cards and letters to our patients each week. Now individuals and groups of all ages and from all across the country can color these cards with their families, schools or community organizations. There are even contests to design a Phil’s Friends postcard that will go directly to cancer patients. To learn more about how to get involved with this network, contact us by clicking below.
You can always help Phil’s Friends by spreading the word about our mission! Request a free Care Package for someone affected by cancer, organize a drive to gather Care Package items, or arrange for a Phil’s Friends representative to come speak at your school, church, business, or organization.
